What should I know before using Phosei?
Phosei presents BaZi as a reflective framework, not guaranteed prediction or professional advice. Accurate birth information improves the chart. Your email becomes a Shopify customer record, while birth details remain outside Shopify. Paid interpretations are AI-assisted and human-reviewed within a clearly stated service scope.

What is BaZi?
BaZi, or the Four Pillars, maps the year, month, day, and hour of birth into eight Chinese characters. Practitioners compare their elements, seasonal context, relationships, and timing cycles to discuss patterns and choices.
Is BaZi the same as fortune-telling?
Phosei uses BaZi as a structured framework for reflection on patterns, timing, and trade-offs. We do not guarantee events, fixed outcomes, or a predetermined fate.
How accurate is a reading?
Accuracy is not a single percentage. The chart calculation can be checked, while interpretation depends on usable birth data, the question, context, and professional judgment. Treat a reading as perspective—not proof or certainty.
Do I need an exact birth time?
An accurate local birth time produces the Hour Pillar and a more complete chart. If your time is unknown, tell us before purchasing so we can explain what can and cannot be interpreted.
Why do you ask for sex at birth?
The four natal pillars do not change. Traditional luck-cycle direction can depend on sex at birth, so the field is collected for continuity with deeper calculations.
Is the Chinese zodiac my whole BaZi chart?
No. The zodiac animal is the Earthly Branch of the Year Pillar. A full chart also includes the Month, Day, and Hour pillars, plus stems, elements, season, and relationships between them.
What happens after you submit.
Where does my email go?
Your email is created or updated as a customer record in the Phosei Shopify store. It is not sent to a personal inbox. Marketing status is changed only when you separately consent.
Are my birth details saved to Shopify Customers?
No. Shopify receives the email, source label, and explicit marketing-consent status. Birth date, time, place, and sex at birth are used for the calculation and are not attached to the Shopify customer profile.
How is AI involved?
AI supports organization, comparison, and clear English drafting. A human remains accountable for context, corrections, boundaries, and approval of every paid reading.
How quickly is a paid reading delivered?
The current target is within 48 hours after complete, usable information is received. If clarification is required, the delivery window begins after the missing information is confirmed.
Can a reading replace professional advice?
No. Readings are for education, guidance, and personal reflection. They are not medical, legal, financial, investment, or psychological advice.
Can I request deletion of my information?
Yes. Contact us from the email connected to the request. We will explain what can be removed, what Shopify or transaction records must be retained, and the expected timing.
