What Is BaZi?
BaZi, also known as the Four Pillars of Destiny, maps the year, month, day, and hour of birth into eight Chinese characters. Together, they form a natal chart made of four pillars.
Each pillar pairs a Heavenly Stem with an Earthly Branch. The Day Stem is the Day Master: the point from which the rest of the chart is interpreted.
Yin and Yang, the Five Elements, seasonal strength, and the relationships among the pillars reveal recurring patterns across personality, career, relationships, wealth, and life cycles.
